ITG reinforces its commitment to wellbeing in built spaces by being recognised as an authorised entity of the AIS Certification<\/a><\/strong>, a leading seal that verifies the degree of accessibility of urbanised environments, both built and in the project phase. <\/p>\n\n

This certification complements the experience of the technology centre as a partner of WELL<\/a> in Spain, as well as of BREEAM<\/a><\/strong>, the international benchmark in accrediting the sustainability of buildings, of which ITG is the certifying body in Spain.<\/p>\n\n

\u2018We felt the need and demand from the market to promote more accessible and inclusive spaces and we strengthened ITG’s sustainable architecture area, which already certifies the sustainability of construction and its impact on health\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, ITG, which already certifies the sustainability of construction<\/a> and the impact of buildings on the health and wellbeing of their occupants, continues to promote inclusive and accessible spaces. Rosalidia \u00c1lvarez, Technical Manager of the centre’s sustainable architecture area, was in charge of receiving the commemorative plaque accrediting ITG as an AIS Authorised Entity from Esther Bienes, president of the Foundation for Accessibility and Social Responsibility (FARS<\/strong>), the international managing body of the AIS certificate, during the Around 2024 celebration in Madrid. <\/p>\n\n

\u2018As an AIS-certified technician, we now have the ability to promote spaces suitable for anyone, regardless of their abilities,\u2019 explained Rosalidia \u00c1lvarez, Technical Manager at ITG.<\/p>\n\n

Around 2024, an annual event organised by AIS to present its new Authorised Entities, also acts as a meeting and discussion space for experts in health, wellbeing and accessibility. It is a meeting point for the professional community that promotes a fair, inclusive and accessible society through a methodology with more than 3,300 certified projects in 32 countries. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
