Today we would like to congratulate all AIS-certified companies that have managed to position themselves among the top 100 companies in the MERCO rankings, especially Merco Empresa 2025.

Companies certified with AIS were already eligible for new points after the incorporation of accessibility indicators in the global evaluation in the last 2024 edition of Merco Talent, Merco ESG Responsibility and Merco Empresa in all countries, a novelty that is maintained for 2025.

In 2023, under an agreement with Fundación ARS and Certificado AIS, Merco introduced for the first time three questions related to accessibility verification, whose final overall weight in the ranking ranges from 10% to 15%.

“Today, it is already essential to talk about accessibility within corporate reputation, talent retention and ESG strategies. And you can’t just talk about it in any old way. You have to be able to prove it with third-party verification. said Esther Bienes Pinedo, director of Fundación ARS and AIS Certificate.

“ARS Foundation is that third party that has been verifying the degree of accessibility of physical and digital environments, services and products with its AIS standards for more than 10 years,” added

In 2025, this monitor continues its commitment to the inclusion of accessibility as a parameter in its rankings, with the deepening of its questions on accessibility.

What is Merco?

Merco is the benchmark corporate monitor in Latin America that has been evaluating the reputation of companies since 2000. It is a reputational assessment tool based on a multi-stakeholder methodology composed of six evaluations and more than twenty sources of information.
