No, se trata de un proceso voluntario que aporta valor y garantías tanto a las entidades certificadas como a los usuarios finales. Aun así, las normas AIS toman como referencia la legislación vigente en cada país.
Sí, existe un Registro Público de Espacios Certificados con AIS donde figuran todos los certificados emitidos desde 2013, con datos como fecha de emisión y estrellas obtenidas. Los certificados aprobados se publican en ese registro en un plazo de alrededor de tres meses.
Fundación ARS ha emitido más de 4.000 certificados AIS en 38 países, concentrando España el 91% del total. El resto se reparte en mercados como Chile, Colombia, Alemania o Japón.
El grado más frecuente es 3 estrellas, con el 37% de los certificados, seguido de 2 estrellas con el 27%. Las 5 Estrellas GOLD, el reconocimiento más exigente, apenas representan el 0,18% del total.
